Continue through the Shira Plateau to Shira 2 camp, covering roughly 10 km. The altitude gradually increases, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Vegetation consists of hardy shrubs and alpine flora

Hike towards Lava Tower, a prominent volcanic formation, before descending to Moir Hut. The trek spans about 13 km, reaching an altitude of 4,700 meters. The landscape transitions to alpine desert, showcasing sparse vegetation like mosses and lichens.

Traverse through Barranco Valley to reach Buffalo camp, covering approximately 12 km. The altitude varies around 4,020 meters. The terrain becomes stark with minimal vegetation, accentuating the rugged beauty of the surroundings

Continue through the alpine desert, trekking around 10 km to Third Cave at an altitude of 3,870 meters. The temperature fluctuates, and vegetation becomes sparser, limited to resilient alpine plants

Ascend to School Hut, standing at 4,715 meters after a trek of approximately 8 km. The landscape comprises rocky outcrops, and the temperature drops significantly. Vegetation is scarce, mainly consisting of hardy mosses and lichens

Summit day begins as you conquer Uhuru Peak at an impressive 5,895 meters, followed by a descent to Mweka camp at around 3,100 meters. Experience a drastic temperature change and witness the transition from icy summit to lush rainforest.

Complete the descent through the rainforest, reaching Mweka gate, and returning to Moshi or Arusha. Celebrate the culmination of the awe-inspiring Northern Circuit adventure.
