Day 1

Moshi Rongai Gate to Simba Camp

The journey begins at the Rongai Gate, situated around 1,950 meters above sea level. You will traverse through dense forests, witnessing diverse flora and fauna, and arrive at Simba Camp (around 2,625 meters), surrounded by stunning vegetation and mild temperatures averaging 15-20°C.

Day 2

Simba Camp to Second Cave

Ascending further, the trail takes you to Second Cave (around 3,450 meters), offering a transition from forests to moorlands. The temperature drops, averaging around 5-15°C. The landscape transforms into a more rugged terrain with scattered vegetation.
